We have no vacancy advertised; applications are gathered in a single pool and considered when a need arises in the relevant field. Filling in the form is all it takes.
What is built here
ÖZKOÇ was founded in İstanbul in 1964 and has done one single thing ever since: hydraulic presses. Today presses from 70 tonnes up to 7,000 tonnes are built here — for seven sectors, from automotive to the defence industry, from cookware to metalworking.
There is no off-the-shelf product. Every press is calculated for the part the customer presses, for its material and for the cycle target; requests specific to a process are treated not as a “deviation from the standard” but as a design input. That has a direct bearing on the work here: you never do the same job twice.
The links a press passes through
From design through to commissioning, the whole chain runs within ÖZKOÇ’s own teams. The headings below correspond to the “field you are interested in” list in the application form.
- Design
- The frame and bolster calculations are verified before manufacture begins; the critical dimensions are fixed at the design stage.
- Welded frame manufacture
- The crossbeams and the supporting plates are joined with a prepared weld bevel; the seam does not stay on the surface, it works into the section, and the frame does not deflect under load.
- Machining
- Because the welded frame and the machining are done in our own workshops, intermediate inspection is not handed over to a supplier.
- Hydraulics
- The cylinders, valves and sealing elements are selected according to the tonnage of the press and its cycle regime. The prefill valve our founder developed in 1975 is still in use today.
- Electrics and PLC / HMI
- The control and software side of the press — one of the links in the “under one roof” chain described on the home page.
- Assembly and acceptance testing
- Before delivery the press is run in our own plant and tested against its tonnage, stroke and cycle figures.
- Commissioning and service
- Installation on site, operator training, breakdown response, overhaul and spare parts. The work of this link is mostly done at the customer’s plant.

The whole job is in-house
Design, welded frame, machining, hydraulics, PLC/HMI and commissioning are all under one roof. You learn by getting to know a whole machine, not a single part.
The machine you build outlives you
The economic life of a hydraulic press runs to decades; its maintenance, its overhaul and its spare parts are handled from the same place throughout that time.
R&D Centre
ÖZKOÇ’s R&D Centre is approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Development is carried out here, in our own centre.
The master–apprentice tradition
Our founder Ali Şükrü Koçan was a primary school graduate and a self-taught machinist; he trained a great many apprentices, masters and engineers. A diploma is not the only measure here — read the history.
Certified quality discipline
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and the CE conformity marking. Before delivery, quality is checked separately at design, at manufacture and at acceptance testing.
